Tensions Escalate: ISRAEL and IRAN Exchange Missile Strikes on June 13

June 13, 2025 – In a dramatic escalation of regional tensions, Israel launched a missile strike targeting military infrastructure inside Iran early Thursday morning. The attack reportedly focused on suspected weapons facilities near the city of Isfahan, with local sources reporting multiple explosions and power outages in the area.

Just hours later, Iran responded with a missile barrage targeting Israeli positions, including sites near Tel Aviv and the Negev Desert. The Iranian government described the response as a “measured retaliation” and vowed further action if Israeli attacks continue.

While both sides have remained tight-lipped about casualties and damage assessments, regional observers warn the exchange marks one of the most direct and dangerous confrontations between the two nations in recent years.
Military analysts note that this tit-for-tat escalation could have wider implications for the region, drawing in allied forces and raising the risk of broader conflict across the Middle East.

MilitaryTech will continue to monitor developments closely.
